REDTalk: QLatinx x UCF
Last night, the Multicultural Student Center at the University of Central Florida and QLatinx hosted #REDTalk: A World AIDS Dinner Party, an annual banquet meant to bring awareness to the ongoing HIV/AIDS epidemic in the community. The goal of the evening was to have students, faculty, staff, and the community empowered to take care of their sexual health and stay updated to are for and create spaces for those impacted by the epidemic.
Throughout the evening we had an incredible lineup of speakers for this event, including Daniel J. Downer, Founder of the The Bros in Convo Initiative, Gabriel Martinez of the UCF Recreation and Wellness Center, and Nicole Elinoff of the Florida Department of Health (DOH).
During the evening, I was incredibly thrilled to have teamed up with Amber Norman of #HIV Education, Awareness, and Research Team associated with the University of Central Florida, for a special edition of SEX TALK, the RED Edition. We thrilled the crowd with three sessions of back-to-back sexy trivia and games, with prizes sponsored by Fairvilla!
We are so honored to have worked hand-in-hand with the team the University of Central Florida on this event, and look forward continuing to serve and support the community by making conversations about sexual health easier and more accessible to everyone!
