Harm Reduction Workshops

This research-informed workshop explores chemsex through a harm reduction lens, centering the lived experiences of LGBTQ+ communities. Participants gain a deeper understanding of chemsex culture, motivations, risks, and protective strategies, while learning how stigma, and criminalization shape access to care. Ideal for providers, advocates, and organizations seeking to better support LGBTQ+ people who use drugs with compassion and cultural humility.

An introductory workshop designed to build a strong foundation in harm reduction. Participants learn what harm reduction is, its core principles, and how to apply evidence-based, person-centered practices in real-world settings. This workshop is ideal for organizations new to harm reduction or looking to strengthen their approach to community care, outreach, and support.

This hands-on, harm reduction–centered workshop equips participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent and respond to drug overdoses. The training covers overdose risk factors, how to recognize the signs of an overdose, and practical strategies to reduce harm, including the use of fentanyl test strips. Activities may include terrarium building, painting, or other guided art practices, alongside optional naloxone and fentanyl test strip demonstrations. This workshop centers healing, self-expression, and connection while providing life-saving harm reduction tools in a supportive environment.

This wellness-centered workshop integrates harm reduction principles with yoga, mindfulness, and breathing practices. Participants explore ways to care for their bodies and nervous systems without judgment or abstinence requirements. The session emphasizes balance, consent, and self-compassion, making it accessible to people at all stages of their wellness journey.
