HARM REDUCTION
QLatinx has been at the forefront of harm reduction—led by community, grounded in lived experience, and driven by love for people too often left behind. Guided by the Eight Principles of Harm Reduction from the National Harm Reduction Coalition, our work centers the dignity, autonomy, and safety of people who use drugs as essential to healing and community wellbeing.

Our work saves lives. Through community-based outreach, we have distributed naloxone (Narcan) and fentanyl test strips, provided overdose prevention education, and stood with our community in moments when systems failed but solidarity did not.

Now, we are expanding. Building on five years of impact, QLatinx is scaling harm reduction education, resources, and advocacy—because harm reduction is not just a strategy. It is a human right, a public health necessity, and an act of radical care.

Fentanyl Test Strips and Narcan Distirbution
We distribute free Narcan and Fentanyl and Xylazine Test strips and educational materials to the community at our activations including our yearly activation at EDC Orlando, as well as several distribution points throughout Orlando.
Harm Reduction Education
We conducted grassroots research that gives a snapshot of the needs of people who use drugs and engage in chemsex in the city of Orlando. We used that data to develop a training that we offer to organizations in order to educate on harm reduction.
