During the last two days, a group of local leaders from the Central Florida community were able to travel to Tallahassee to advocate for smarter justice policies that work to reduce mass incarceration, work to implement restorative justice practices, and provide comprehensive care for survivors of violent crimes. We at QLatinx are truly thankful to have partnered with Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice to send a cohort to work with the Florida legislator and are inspired by the work of these amazing leaders working to build strength, resilience, and transformation in our community.
