Shakyara Ralat

Shakyara  (she/her) is a passionate local advocate with a special interest and expertise in Trans justice. Shakyara finds joy and pleasure in spending time with family and her furbaby, dancing Salsa and learning new things that will allow her to grow and further invest in her community. 

Shakyara believes that there is a large need in our Trans community for a real conversation on what it means to fully transition into womanhood. Her lived experience has allowed her to understand the obstacles, challenges, trauma faced by transgender women and she uses her lived experience to help others
