On Tuesday, June 6, 2018 the QLatinx team lead an in-depth discussion on Sexuality and Gender Diversity at the Roth Jewish Community Center of Greater Orlando. In this workshop, participants had the opportunity to learn and ask questions about LGBTQ+ identities and gain insight into the experience of LGBTQ individuals within our community. Additionally, we examined gender constructs through a pre- and post-colonial lens and reflected on how feminist philosophy has informed changing views about the social construction of gender.

If your organization or place of business is interested in learning the fundamental principles of establishing a safe and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals in your personal and professional environments don't hesitate to reach out! Our team is always happy to come out and facilitate workshops for personal and professional development. To schedule a workshop for your group, send us an email today at education@qlatinx.org.
