For colored boys who speak softly I would sacrifice my tongue Make an offering to the Gods

Nationally acclaimed poet, educator, performance artist and public speaker Yosimar Reyes bears his soul in their beautiful written and recited body of work for colored boys who speak softly.

This poem speaks to the strength and power that queer black and brown youth can have when we speak out against systems of oppression that are designed to proliferate our oppression.

We applaud Reyes for their incredible and uplifting work!
