Six months following the deadliest mass shooting in recent U.S. history at the Pulse nightclub, the Orlando community is still grieving. Many communities across Orlando - whether LGBTQ+, Latinx, Black, faith, or more broadly - have been impacted. Photographer Cassi Alexandra spoke to people across these communities, each with varying connections to the tragedy, about their grief, their loss, and their hope for recovery. These stories examine the process that each of these individuals, and their communities, must undergo to have their faith and hope restored, and to address the violence and aggression that shaped these tragic events.
