David is a community organizer and organizing coach. He started his work in organizing and activism in 2012 as a fellow for OFA in Colorado and has engaged in movement building in several states before landing in Florida in 2016. David is passionate about implementing sound organizing practices and knows that the fight for progress is too big to be won alone. David is a proud ally and believes that coalition building is the path to achieving meaningful change; when we come together for each other, we become greater than the sum of our parts. He’s been in the Orlando area since 2020 after some time abroad teaching ESL in Colombia, where much of his family resides. Since being in Orlando David has trained and led organizers throughout 3 campaign cycles and worked as Regional Director and, most recently GOTV Director with the For Our Future Fund.
